IDS Group has vast experience in energy projects involving commercial, industrial, educational, institutional, recreational, and various government facilities. One of the first projects conducted by IDS Group involved the review of the seismic upgrade of several facilities for Intel Corporation in California and Oregon. Since that time, we have developed repair solutions and seismic-strengthening solutions and assisted in white paper developments for an array or industrial and energy-related projects, including invaluable knowledge of the sensitivity in working in semiconductor facilities, where vibration issues are of paramount concern.
IDS Group designed the nation’s first sustainable solar-powered parking structure, consulted on the largest LEED-Gold rated privately-funded project in the United States at Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii, and was instrumental in the design of Mission Viejo Mall, recognized as the largest solar-retail installation in the US. IDS Group has completed more than 15 photovoltaic projects within the past three years; we are the recipient of numerous awards for conservation and renewable energy products, thermal energy storage, new design, seismic retrofit, utility infrastructure design, and HVAC renovation and retrofit.
